Canberra Cavalry’s new lookThe Canberra Cavalry's home ground, The Fort, has completed a major upgrade just in time for their first home game.
With the growth and success of the Canberra Cavalry in Canberra, the decision was made to upgrade the facilities to cater for more fans, additional corporate facilities, improved player and training facilities and bring in local food and drink vendors.
On the 6th December, the Cavalry had their first home game with the new facilities opened to the public and the ground was looking great.
The grandstand has been expanded to add a premium experience for some lucky fans, being catered in their own air-conditioned room. There is now permanent media services facilities, timekeeper and officials access and of course and expanded Wi-Fi service to power it all.
Servitel enters another season, proudly sponsoring the Calvary while delivering ServiAir, an enterprise WiFi-as-a-Service platform, for players and officials to access.
With the larger grandstand and additional purpose built facilities, the challenge was to create a larger, high density WiFi network. This was achieved with only requiring 1 additional access point from previous seasons. The FortiWiFi based service has a higher coverage than most WiFi services and with the controller based in the cloud, maintaining the service becomes a breeze.
And it didn't take long for Servitel's Business Manager, Greg to enjoy the hospitality of the Calvary. Joined by Daniel and Pippa from Dexar Corporate Services for a great night of baseball and a good win over the Bandits.
